Occupation: Trek Store, Lane Ave. & Echelon-Trek Cycling Club
Favorite Food: Gu's, Clif Bars, Clif Shot Blocks and SportLegs.....oh not what I eat all the time on the bike
Favorite Ride: One of my favorite rides is a 22 mile loop (ride it 3 times or more) on Block Island, which is 13 miles off the coast of Rhode Island. The Island wide speed limit is 25 mph. On the flats & descents we're faster than the locals, taxi's & rental scooters. Johnathan can chase down the scooters on the climbs. It is a rolling to hilly Island shaped like a pork chop, including a 1 mile climb from Old Harbor up to the Airport. They used to have a three day stage race out on the island.
Favorite Quote: "Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride." -- John F. Kennedy
Why I Ride: "When I see an adult on a bicycle, I do not despair for the future of the human race." -- H.G. Wells
My Commute: Short fast sprint to work and taking a different longer way home. 2011 Cyclocross Season almost over, Nats. and World to go! 2010 Cap City Cross - Finished 2nd over all for the Cat.3 Masters 45+. 2011 Cap City Cross - Finished 3rd over all for the Cat.3 Masters 40+ field.
